Sandestin is one gated resort, not Destin. Baytowne Wharf, golf villas, and gulf-front towers sit behind one gate. Private hibachi means the chef comes to your villa — you do not drive to a harbor grill.

Sandestin is a gated Walton County resort on 98, between Destin and Miramar. This page is the villa. Searching “hibachi Destin” usually means a sit-down grill.

Quick answer

Can you book private hibachi in Sandestin?

Yes — at approved homes and short-term rentals in Sandestin. This is a gated resort. Gulf-front towers need a written outdoor-cooking yes and a ground-level pad — not a balcony. Bay-side villas and golf homes with patios are the typical setup. Confirm outdoor cooking with the host or manager before the deposit. We bring the chef, grill, food, show, and cooking-area cleanup.

One gate, one villa, one dinner

The group is already inside Sandestin — Baytowne, a golf villa, or a gulf-front tower. Loading everyone out to Destin Harbor is the long way. Private hibachi keeps the night at the villa.

Towers need a written outdoor-cooking yes and a ground-level pad. Villas and bay-side patios are the typical yes. Send the gate and the villa number, not “Sandestin.”

Stay together

Resort weeks split across villas. One grill at the main house holds the group.

Dinner is the show

After Baytowne, nobody wants another parking hunt. The fire show is the night.

How booking and setup work

01

Send the Sandestin address

Full street address, date, time, and headcount. “Sandestin” alone is not enough for travel or access.

02

Check the house rules

Send the gate, building or villa number, and parking. “Sandestin” or “Destin” alone is not an address. Between Destin and Miramar on 98 — not a 30A town.

03

Lock the menu

Choose Platinum or All-Star. Collect proteins, kids’ plates, allergies, and upgrades.

04

Clear the outdoor area

Tables, chairs, plates, and a level grill area. We set up, cook, and pack out the cooking zone.

  • Final headcount, proteins, allergies
  • Covered outdoor backup

Answers before you book

Sandestin FAQs

Is Sandestin the same as Destin?

No. Sandestin is a gated Walton County resort on Highway 98, between Destin and Miramar Beach. Destin is the harbor and Crystal Beach city to the west. The grill comes to your villa inside the gates.

Can you cook at a Sandestin gulf-front tower?

Only with association permission and a ground-level outdoor pad. Balconies are not a grill surface. Villas and golf-course patios are the easy yes.

Do we need a gate pass?

Yes. Share the gate instructions, villa or building number, and parking. The van cannot guess which Sandestin entrance you use.

How much is hibachi in Sandestin?

Platinum Stars starts at $60 per adult and $30 for kids ages 5–12, with a $500 food-package minimum and a $200 deposit. All-Star is $70. A $1.50-per-mile distance fee applies only after 50 miles from ZIP 32408.
